Rivers and Streams

River Sheaf and tributary streams

The River Sheaf and the tributaries which feed into it.

Old Hay Brook and Totley Brook join together to form the River Sheaf just south of the A621 at Totley .

The Sheaf then heads north east through Abbeydale towards the  centre of the City of Sheffield, and on its way it is joined by several small streams.

The Sheaf is joined by Porter Brook as it passes under the Sheffield Railway Station.

After flowing under the railway station and Sheaf Street, past the busy Park Square roundabout, the Sheaf joins the River Don close to Victoria Quays.
